Back home
I'm now back home in NYC after my long weekend in NC. I can't begin to describe how inconvenient it is to be in this city when you're walking impaired. I had a mental checklist of things that I wanted/needed to get done, but it all requires walking. I'm torn between just getting things done and forgoing the ankle (attitude - ah, it'll be fine. I just need to walk it off) or really trying to rest up and let it heal properly so as to minimize the possibility of this happening again... and again... and again.
Despite the endless conveniences of the city (everything delivers), sometimes it can be really inconvenient.
(Edit: how many times can I use a derivative of the word "convenient" in one post? I need to get a thesaurus...)
