What does it mean?
I had a really weird dream last night. Not sure if it's because I was sleeping uncomfortably on the futon, or if there was some deep psychological reasoning behind it - although I have no idea what it would be.
I was apparently going to my high school prom but it wasn't my senior prom. I was going to prom my brother's senior year, my sophomore year. I don't remember who my date was or if I was even going with anyone in particular. There was just a group of about 6 of us, but again, I don't even know who was in the group.
Somehow we were in a raft drifting among glaciers - obviously on the way to prom. All of a sudden, a giant seal burst out of the water and started trying to attack my brother's raft. The seal was probably the size of a small whale. My entire body was about the size of one of its teeth. Anyway, I somehow distracted it to get it away from my brother's raft and then it started chasing us. The glaciers then became some sort of forest with wooden treehouses or something. I remember it being a maze of wooden beams and we were weaving in and out, trying to get the seal off our track. We were still sitting in a raft. Or maybe it had changed to a flying carpet at this point. I don't quite remember anymore. It's getting hazy. Anyway, my morning alarm abruptly ended the dream moments before the seal caught up to us.
Any psychologists out there have any theories or analysis? Or maybe I'm starting to lose it...
