A Second Chance

I've decided to give this blog thing another shot. Perhaps I'll be more diligent and start posting on a semi-regular basis, but who knows... I've thought that in the past.

I went on an interview today and met with the CFO and executive VP of a 12 person company. I don't think I've ever had a discussion with anyone as old as the EVP that I saw today (outside of a nursing home that is). During the interview, I was constantly thinking about how amazing it was that someone that "senior" could still have a decent mental agility. I was also hoping that he wouldn't have a heart attack in the middle of the interview. That would be an interesting experience. Actually... that's pretty tricky. What if they had set up a mock stroke as part of the interviewing process? It would be a good gauge of the candidate's ability to thrive under a pressure situation and to handle the unexpected. Hmm, maybe when I have my own company one day I'll consider that as a possibility.
