L'chaim!

I'm thinking about converting to Judaism. I guess "converting" wouldn't technically be the appropriate term since I am without formal religion. However, my friend works for a company founded by Jewish owners. For 2007, they will have 12 holidays from work for Jewish observances. TWELVE! This is in addition to the same holidays as the heathen population in America (i.e., July 4th, Memorial day, Labor day, etc). In total, the lucky employees of this company will have 20 holidays for 2007. Thanks to Rosh Hashanah and Sukkot, they almost have the entire month of September off! Including the additional vacation weeks and personal days, that's practically a European working year!

Judaism isn't looking so bad. And I haven't even mentioned all the gifts in December!
