Dixie Chicks - "Not ready to make nice"
I've been a DC fan for quite some time now. There's something about their songs that's just catchy to me. "Not ready.." is obviously a very personal and politically motivated song. They got a lot of flack a few years back when they spoke out against Bush and the war at one of their concerts. I guess this is their public retaliation.

Sheryl Crow & Sting - "Always on your side"
Sheryl Crow has 2 versions of this song out - a solo and the duet with Sting. The duet with Sting seems more appropriate since it's about the ending of a relationship and some verses are from the male perspective. It's not as effective when Crow sings the entire song by herself.
I was going to insert my favorite lines, but I would have ended up pasting the entire song. It's one that a lot of us can relate to.
