Slow days
It's been relatively calm and uneventful the past couple of weeks - hence, no blog postings.
The Jajballers (dodgeball team) are now 7-1. We've been playing decently given the emphasis the guys put on the "game". The guys on the team are pretty deadly serious about this sport. There was an unusual amount of disappointment that we even lost the one game. Perhaps it was because we only lost by one point. I hadn't played dodgeball since grade school, so being inside a gym, dodging rubber balls brings back some haunting memories of kid bullies. Perhaps I can turn those memories into motivation to decimate the opposing team.
I also hear that the touch football team is doing well. I haven't been to the last couple of games, but I think we're undefeated so far this season. We'll see if maybe this is the year that we make playoffs.
