UT vs NMS 8-6

We had a good win tonight. Our team was playing a bit better with less errors. The umpire was over an hour late, claiming traffic on the way. I didn't mind since we got in some good practice time with the other team prior to the official game.

I played catcher for the first time to give our regular catcher some relief. It's a pretty boring position and the catcher's mask is incredibly hot. I'd prefer not to wear it, but I suppose that could get me in some real trouble given a foul ball or wayward swing. Plus it's too big for me, so the mask kept sliding. Luckily there was a decision to switch me out to the field, so I didn't have to suffer for too long. However, I made a costly error at 2nd. Had an easy throw that just bounced out of the glove that ended up with a run for the other team. But in the next inning, I caught a fast line drive for what I thought was an impressive out. I felt a little bit better, but still have a ways to go to make up for my many mistakes.

Overall season stats: 1 RBI, .200 batting, 0 K's
