Rearranging

On impulse, I decided to rearrange my apartment today. For those of you that have seen my place, you know there's not much space to be shuffling things around. However, I decided to switch the positions of my couch and tv. So now, one side of my "living room" has a kitchen table, futon couch, and my bed. The opposite wall is my bookcase, tv and random end tables. In a way, it makes the room look bigger but the side with the table and futon looks a bit cramped. There was just barely enough space to squeeze the futon between the table and bed.

It was a good way to clean the apt as well. I tossed out a bunch of empty boxes that I had been saving "just in case" and other random stuff that I decided I didn't need anymore. It felt good to take down a few bags of garbage. It's amazing how much trash can collect in even a small apt.

I cleaned out my shoe closet as well, as that has been on my mind for a while. It had gotten to a point where I just threw the shoes in the closet and had no idea what was where and even had some difficulty closing the doors. While cleaning, I found a pair of sandals that I had bought a few months back and forgotten that I had. I also found an Under Armour armband. I have no idea how it ended up in my closet, but for that person looking for a missing armband from his pack of 4, now you know where it is...
