The opposing team didn't have enough players for last night's game so we won by forfeit. I think I paid a whole season's cost for only playing a half season's games. I'll miss a few games while I'm on vacation and we've already had 2 forfeits. I was hoping to break in the new glove, but that's going to have to wait until next week. Hopefully the new glove's magical powers kick in and I can cut down on the errors.

In hindsight it's fortunate that the game was cancelled. I found out about 10 minutes before I was going to leave the office and ended up needing to stay to do work anyway. I stayed later last night than I have in a long time (which isn't really saying that much). I even woke up early this morning to get a head start on some work. What a difference 10 minutes can make on the subway! I'm tempted to start coming in earlier just to skip the rush hour crowd. But then again, sometimes it's nice to get groped first thing in the morning...
