Back problems

I've been experiencing a lot of back pain lately. I hate to think it's the product of getting older, but it certainly does make me think about age.

I've been making fairly consistent trips to the gym lately and I think that perhaps a pilates class did me in. I had never taken one before and I'm not sure that I ever plan on taking another one again. It's great for flexibility and muscle toning, but I think it's too slow paced for me. I need something high itensity to make me feel like I made the most of my time.

Anyway, I think I overextended something in my lower back during class. It hasn't been the same since and it's steadily getting worse. It hurts when I get out of bed in the morning and hurts when I bend down as well. I'm hoping that a round of accupuncture does the trick. I doubt it's a serious injury - it just makes me feel old. You know you're getting old when you sigh or make a similar type noise when you sit down or stand up.
