to all the marathoners this Sunday. I'll be joining those ranks next year... I think.

I have one race left to fulfill the nine race requirement to be qualified for the marathon next year. It's tough to get myself motivated to get out of bed at 7 am on the weekends to run a 4-5 mile race in the wintertime though. I was hoping to have completed all nine by now, but it looks like I got lazy in the summertime so I'm now one short. Being a fair weather runner, I'm not sure how I'll handle running 26 mi in the winter next year. We'll see if it actually happens...
